Gator 72 (72-8) was requested to assist Riddle EMS today from 7am until 3pm with an event in Newtown Square being sponsored by the MS Society. The MS Society was hosting "Mud Run 2010", a grueling 6 mile obstacle course through various terrain.  Riddle EMS had 4 ambulances on scene throughout the course along with 3 proprietary ambulances staffing a first aid tent with doctors, nurses and PAs. Due to the remote areas the course was laid out on, Gator 72 along with Gator 108 (Haverford Twp. Paramedics) were requested to be on hand to rescue any injured runners. Utility and Gator 72 were staffed with 4 personnel were staged in various locations along the course and transported several patients to the first aid tent or to awaiting ambulances. Approximately 1200 participants tackled the course. Thanks to Riddle EMS for the invite and we hope to be able to help out at future events like this!!!
