During the mid afternoon, Companies 63 and 72 were dispatched to Concord Rd. and Village Dr. for an accident with entrapment. With Rescue 72 O.O.S for pump work, Engine 72 responded within minutes. Chief 63, Rescue 63 and Medic 72-7 arrived and reported a two vehicle accident, one vehicle overturned on its roof and 2 people trapped and a total of 3 injuries. Chief 63 established Concord Rd Command. Crews from Rescue 63 and Medic 72 went to work on patient care and extrication. Engine 72 arrived and crews set up the Holmatro Tools and stretched a 1 3/4" handline for fire supression. Crews also assisted with patient care and extrication. 72-7A, and Medic 72 both handled tansports to CCMC. Rescues 71 (Chester Heights) and 39 (Lower Chichester) were also called in to assist. Crews returned within 35 minutes.
